Pastor McCarter has served as the Sr. Pastor since 2003 and has led the ministry through a variety of changes. He has a genuine love for people and desires to see them grow socially and spiritually. He has been married to his wife, Theresa McCarter, since May 1982. He is the father of 3 grown children, and grandfather of 6.

Elder Middleton has been a long-standing member of Third Macedonia Baptist Church, having worshiped at the church at times during his 20-year career in the Unites States Marine Corps and after his separation from the Corps in 1983 until the present. He was ordained as a Deacon and has served in various capacities under the leadership of several Pastors since 1982. He was ordained as an Elder on 12 March 2017. He is the husband of Sister Rosa Middleton. They have two sons and three grandchildren.

Deacon Singleton grew up in Third Macedonia Baptist Church and moved to Brooklyn, NY after graduating from Voorhees College in 1971. He moved to Bronx, NY where he married Helene Singleton and worked for the Transit Authority for 27 years. Sadly, his wife passed in 1997 after 12 years of marriage. They have one son together, Waymond Singleton. He is the father of 4 grown children, was ordained as a Deacon in 2008, and, in his own words, has a passion for "watching things grow."

Deacon Fleming lived in Bronx, NY for 15 years. He and his wife, Ellen Fleming, have been married since 2006. They moved to Beaufort, SC and joined Third Macedonia Baptist Church in Nov 2007. After serving diligently in a variety of capacities, he was ordained as a Deacon in 2014. Deacon Fleming has an immense love for his family, citing his wedding day as one of the best days of his life. Deacon Fleming is an avid fisherman, and it is well-known that if he's not at home, work, or church you'll likely find him down by the riverside!

Deacon Dunbar is a Beaufort native. He was born and raised in Beaufort and joined the Navy in 1972. He separated honorably in 1981 and worked a variety of Federal positions over the course of 21 years. He joined Third Macedonia Baptist Church in 2000 and after working dutifully and faithfully was ordained as a Deacon in 2003. He has been, and continues to be, an avid supporter of our local schools and their sporting events.
